Purpose of the Site
Supportdrc.org is a nonprofit platform dedicated to raising awareness and collecting donations to support humanitarian initiatives in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), including education, healthcare, clean water, food access, and emergency aid.

All donations made through supportdrc.org are processed securely via GoFundMe, a trusted third-party fundraising platform. When you click “Donate” through our donation page, you will be redirected to our official GoFundMe campaign page. Donations are voluntary and non-refundable. Funds raised will be used to support humanitarian efforts in the Democratic Republic of Congo, including health, education, clean water, and emergency relief. While we aim to honor specific project goals, we reserve the right to reallocate funds based on urgent and evolving needs.
Safety Guidlines
By participating in the SupportDRC Cultural and Language Exchange Program (“SupportDRC”), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms. Participation in SupportDRC constitutes a full waiver of any and all claims against SupportDRC, its affiliated entities, employees, founders, Congo-based participants, and North American volunteers. If you are a minor, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has provided consent for your participation.

All participants agree that they will:

Refrain from political conversations or topics that may create conflict or discomfort.

Not discriminate against, harass, or disparage any participant, volunteer, culture, or language.

Treat all participants and volunteers with respect, courtesy, and cultural sensitivity.

Engage in SupportDRC activities as expected, which may include adhering to weekly time commitments or assignment requirements.

Report participation and engagement honestly and accurately when requested by SupportDRC.

Attend all scheduled activities on time and remain for the expected duration.

Use school-appropriate and respectful language at all times.

To protect minors and maintain a safe learning environment, participants must also:

Not ask for, offer, or exchange money, gifts, or personal financial assistance under any circumstances.

Not request or share personal contact information beyond approved communication channels.

Refrain from any form of harassment, including verbal, emotional, or digital harassment.

Avoid inappropriate, sexual, or suggestive language or behavior of any kind.

Respect personal boundaries and the comfort levels of others during conversations.

Report any uncomfortable, suspicious, or inappropriate behavior to SupportDRC staff immediately at suppdrc@gmail.com , which is the official program email used for all operations, including sending out forms, receiving questions, and handling all program-related communication.

Recommended Best Practices

Participants are encouraged to:

Adjust their language speed and clarity to support comprehension.

Avoid slang, idioms, or informal phrases that may cause confusion.

Prepare potential conversation topics in advance.

Share appropriate stories, experiences, and cultural perspectives.

Ensure a stable internet connection and test equipment beforehand.

Log in five minutes before any virtual session to prepare and avoid delays.
User Eligibility
To make a donation or provide information through the Site, you must be: at least 18 years old, or under 18 with parental/guardian permission.

To participate in the SupportDRC Cultural and Language Exchange Program, all minors must obtain verified consent from the parent or guardian whose email address is provided on the registration form. After submitting the form, a consent document will be automatically sent to the listed parent or guardian.
Participation will not begin until the parent or guardian signs and returns the required consent form. If the parent or guardian does not complete and submit the form, the minor will not be permitted to participate in any SupportDRC activities.

Participation is completely voluntary. You may withdraw at any time without penalty.
Intellectual Property
All content on supportdrc.org — including logos, designs, images, and written content — is the property of Support DRC or used with permission. You may not reuse, reproduce, or distribute content without prior written consent.
